Kai had his first day of school today. He was 50/50 on wanting to go. We have been talking about it a lot this last week and he would sometimes say he wanted to go, and other times say he didn't. In the end he cried but did fine after a bit. I couldn't go because Grady had a doctor appointment. But, Tyson took him and sat in his class for a while to help him get used to it. What is great is that he is at the same school as last year and his teacher moved up with the class. It makes a huge difference that he knows the school, the staff, his teacher and the other kids in the class. When we picked him up today he was happy and had fun and told me he wanted to go back tomorrow. So, all in all, a great first day of school!
