We had a very low key weekend but had a wonderful time celebrating the Resurrection of our Savior! Kai was sick most of the week but got better by Friday evening...then Tyson woke up with the same virus on Saturday. But, since Kai was better and we had been in the house most of the week (very unsual for us!) I decided to try to take him to the Easter Egg Hunt at the park in town for some fresh air. Daddy braved going out and took a few pictures for us. Kai did pretty well considering the chaos of a hunt and even got a few eggs...although he was way more interested in the flowers! It was over in about three minutes but he had a good time:) The plastic eggs he got have kept him quite entertained this weekend. We have "hid" them and he finds them and puts them in his pail and then tosses them around. On Easter we went to church and had a late lunch with our friends Ryan and Caitlin. The rest of the day we spent relaxing and hanging out as a family. Even though Tyson was sick it was nice to have two whole days together as a family. Here are a few pictures from our Easter weekend.
Kai before the Easter Egg Hunt...scoping out the competition:)
Getting some eggs!
Checking out the flowers (I'll pretend he was picking them for his Mommy)
Kai showing off he giant Easter basket:) A tiny pail with a few eggs, a ball, some bubbles and some books for his grandmas...what more does a little boy need:)
