Car Seats...I Need Your Help!
So, we need to get Kai a new carseat. He is currently still in his infant seat and I think it is time to get him a big boy seat. I don't think he has totally out grown it yet but he soon will and I figure he since he is almost 1 it is time! I am hoping to buy it this weekend but thought I would see if I could get some feed back from other moms on seats you got and if you did or did not like them. I would love to get one that will go all the way into a booster seat but that is not totally necessary. I would also ideally like to purchase it from Target because I have saved a gift card since his baby shower and have $100 to go towards it. So, if you can take a second and give me some feedback I would absolutely appreciate it. Also, if you have any good websites that I should go to for reviews let me know! Thanks for your help friends!

We bought a car seat/booster seat for Alex at age 1 and she still uses it. It's a pretty nice one, a Britax. Those are very highly rated, and yes you pay though the nose for them, but completely worth it in my book. I do have to say though that Maddy had one as well, not a Britax, but a Graco, and it worked just as well. In fact Alex now uses it in the car. Stace
After a lot of research, we were going to buy a Britax. However, when we went to Babies-R-Us and spoke to the lady who worked in that department she suggested the Evenflo Triumph Advance DLX. She said it was comparable to the Britax (which are $100 more) but she said that she had a Britax and she still would prefer the Evenflo over that one. The one we got has memory-foam, a lot of great safety features, and it even goes up to 50lbs so Maya will be using it until she is about 5 years old. It doesn't have a booster but it will work just the same. It can go rear-facing on a tilt too...if Kai needs to be in it before he is 1.

I think I'm probably too late but I have the Britax Marathon and I love it! It's the most expensive, but it has awesome ratings and it lasts the longest size/weight wise. But if I'm too late then I'm sure whatever you got will be great! :-)
